Learning begins in classrooms at 8:50am and finishes at 3:00pm
What time should students arrive?
We encourage students to arrive at school between 8:30am and 8:50am and make their way to class at 8:45am.
No formal supervision is provided before class begins at 8.50am. Students in years 1 - 6 arriving at school prior to 8:30am are to present to the Hall to wait quietly. At 8:30 students will be transitioned to the Canteen Undercover area and the oval to exercise before collection by their classroom teacher.
Prep students that arrive early will sit in the Prep Undercover area until the class teachers collect them.
Students are not to be on playground equipment or running through the classroom areas. To facilitate such movement before school, parents are reminded that they need to book appointments with teachers rather than drop in, as our current practice requires.
Class rolls are marked by 9:15am. If students arrive after this time, they will need to check in via the office and collect a late slip before going to class.
Our school bell is a song that changes each month based around a learning theme.
Leaving early notification
If parents require a child to leave early throughout the day for appointments and alike, parents must email email@example.com before 11:00am to organise early departure.
Collecting students during lunch breaks is not recommended unless previously organised as it can take up to half an hour to locate students in the various play areas.
