Welcome to PSPC.
My name is Chris McMillan, and I'm proud to be the Principal of Pimpama State Primary College (PSPC). I've been a Principal in Queensland for over 40 years, with 20 of those years spent in the Coomera and Pimpama communities. As a local resident and parent of children who've attended schools in this area, I'm passionate about education and deeply connected to our vibrant community.
At PSPC, we believe that state schools are great schools, and we're incredibly proud of our students, staff, and school community. Our school is built on respect, inclusivity, and high expectations, and we're committed to helping every student succeed.
Since opening in 2015, PSPC has grown to over 750 students from a wide range of backgrounds. This diversity is one of our greatest strengths, enriching the learning experience for everyone. Looking ahead to 2025, we're excited about some fantastic highlights, including our Active School Travel program, which encourages healthy and sustainable travel, and hosting Diwali 2025, a vibrant celebration of culture and community. We're also thrilled to present our inaugural school musical, *Moana*, which will showcase the amazing talents of our students and staff. On top of this, we offer a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities, like after-school dance and Kokoda Challenge teams, which help build teamwork, resilience, and leadership skills.
Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to deliver the Australian Curriculum and ensure every child achieves their best. We have high expectations for learning and behaviour, and we partner with families to help students thrive within our Student Code of Conduct.
If you're thinking about enrolling your child at PSPC, we'd love to meet you and talk about how we can support their education. Together, we can give them a fantastic start in life. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our school—we look forward to welcoming you to our PSPC community!
Kind regards,
Chris McMillan
