Hello.  As the Deputy Principal for Prep – Year 2, I am a passionate Early Years Educator with a strong focus on working collaboratively to plan and deliver high quality, student-centred learning, so that all children can be successful learners. 

My career has largely been spent here on the Gold Coast, growing and sharing my knowledge to support students, teachers and communities. 

I am focussed on building partnerships and working together to create a community of learners, to improve student achievement, within a safe and supportive learning environment.  ​​​​​

I began my career as a classroom teacher in Longreach. When I returned to Brisbane I began working in Special Education in schools in Logan, before taking on a Deputy Principal role in Marsden.

I am passionate about early intervention and inclusion, supporting the needs of all students to become the best they possibly can. I believe  collaborative partnerships with families is the foundation for which student success is built upon.

After a long career in the classroom in Western Queensland and on the Gold Coast and through roles at both school and regional level, I became Deputy Principal at PSPC in 2016. 

As Deputy Principal at Pimpama State Primary College, I have managed the introduction of the schools successful School-wide Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)  approach to learning through engagement.
