Pimpama pays it forward
Commencing Term 4 of 2021, Pimpama State Primary College's
Breakfast club opened with great reviews from students, parents and staff.
Launch event
Our breakfast club received media coverage on Channel 7 Gold Coast, the Gold Coast Bulletin and radio station Hot Tomato was even on site at our official opening to interview Mr Hartley live on the radio!
Our current sponsors
Breakfast Club would not be possible without the wonderful donation of goods, services and funds from our current sponsors.
Our
Naming rights major sponsor is
Bendigo Bank Pimpama-Ormeau, who provided $5,000. The
Bendigo Bank Breakfast Club commenced in Term 4, 2021.
Gold Sponsors are currently
Village Roadshow Theme Parks, The Hogarth Family, YMCA Schools' Breakfast Program and Pimpama State Primary College's P&C Association. We thank these businesses and community groups for sponsoring $1,000 each to our breakfast club. We are still looking for another 4 Gold Sponsors - all foundation year Gold Sponsors receive their logo/name on our new table and bench seating as well as our sponsors sign.
Silver Sponsors are currently Coastal Building & Construction Pty Ltd, All Clean Carpet Cleaning and Pest Control, Zenviron Energy and GC Weighing and Calibrations. We thank these businesses for sponsoring $500 each to our breakfast club.
Bronze Sponsorship is $250 per annum and we are looking for businesses to sponsor the Bendigo Bank Breakfast Club. We also accept sponsorship from community groups and families.
Community volunteers
We could not feed the students at PSPC without the volunteers from Highway Church. Starting at 7:30am every morning these wonderful community minded volunteers toast, butter and spread vegemite and jam on over 9 loaves of bread as well as cutting up 10kg of fruit every week, ensuring the 20 packets of cereal used weekly are ready and that the 33 litres of milk is nice and cold. And at the end of each breakfast club session they wipe down all the benches and tables, wash almost 200 plates and bowls daily and then set up ready to repeat the following day.
We also need to thank all the staff who volunteer their time before work to help with breakfast club. And thank you also to those staff behind the scenes who help get the word out about sponsorship requirements, who help wash 100 tea-towels every week and the admin staff who help support breakfast club. And thanks also to the P&C members who help support fundraising events for breakfast club.
Thanks also to Coles Pimpama City who donate the 10kg of fruit every week.
Breakfast club would not happen without the whole PSPC community supporting it - so thank you to everyone! If you are interested in helping with breakfast club - please contact Ms Mandy via the office or aotto30@eq.edu.au.
We need sponsors!
Breakfast Club relies solely on community support to operate. At a cost of $20,000 per annum (for food alone), we need business and community sponsorship to keep breakfast club operating every school day. We also need sponsorship funds to help pay for the set up costs which was just over $10,000 for tables/chairs, bowls, plates, food dispensers and containers etc.
Breakfast club sponsorship can be achieved through donations of goods or services (in-kind) or by cash sponsorship. Our sponsorship packages start at $250 per annum through to naming rights sponsor of $5,000 per annum.
